Meia Praia, Dona Ana and Porto de Mos beaches are all just a 5 minute drive away.
Lagos is a wonderful seaside resort offering a little of everything, with miles of golden sandy beaches and clear blue waters your days can be spent just taking in the sun, if however you are looking for a little more than Lagos has it all! There are several top class golf courses on your doorstep, including the courses used for the Henry Cooper championship and the David Seaman Safe hands Competition.
A new busy marina also offers all types of watersports and trips including deep sea fishing and Dolphin Safaris. A trip in a small fishing boat will take you along the coast and see the amazing rock formations and grottos.
Lagos is full of history which can be seen at every corner, including the very first slave market, the old castle and its walls and a delightful museum. The town itself offers winding cobbled streets full of interesting shops, cafés and restaurants. Fresh fish and wonderful shellfish can be tried here in the many international restaurants, don't forget to check out the local fish market and try identifying some of these strange looking fish!!
