Set amid classic Norman countryside, just a few minutes from the pretty county town of Vire, this newly restored 17th century cottage enjoys panoramic views over the valley. This is real apple country where cider and Calvados are made locally, also the famous cheeses of the area, all of which can be purchased or sampled at one of the many colourful markets held weekly. There are plenty of good restaurants to visit, a zoo not far away at Jurques, or for a day out the historic Mont St Michel is less than a hour’s drive. The bay of Mont St Michel makes a great family day out with its sandy beaches, and the lively resort of Granville holds many attractions, including several golf courses and boating.
