The complex of golden park has something for everyone with 3 swimming pools,one of which is the biggest in Altinkum, kids pool, jacuzzi,poolside bar, restaurant, reception, shop, and 24hr security. They also provide a free mini bus to beach and town centre both only 15mins walk away and the nearest supermarket is only 5mins walk.
The gardens of the complex are very large and safe for kids to play and with no main roads near makes it safe for families.The complex also suits some disabled as it has ramps and lifts in all blocks and areas,there is also a hoist into the pool.
Altinkum with its wide streches of golden sands lapped by the clear blue waters of the southern aegean is ideal for families.Life in Altinkum revolves around its 3 beaches and beautiful secluded coves,streching from the small harbour at one end of the bay to a rocky headland at the other with over 1km of sand between.From the pier you can try your luck at fishing,or take a wonderful boat trip round the coast to some great beaches,or take a boat to Bodrum and visit the castle or sample the delights of turkish shopping.The Aegean area is also famous for one of the seven wonders of th world the temple of Artemision and the ancient city of Ephesus which are well worth a visit at only 1 1/2 hrs away from Altinkum.
Also the temple of Apollo is only 20mins walk from the apartment and is well worth the walk or take the local dolmus bus to it.
The area of Didim also has a saturday market selling everything from fruit and veg to fake designer goods.
When the sun goes down Altinkum really begins to glow, with a wide range of bars and restaurants offering a great choice of turkish dishes.And if arter all that you still feel up for it ther is agood mixture of lively bars and discos with entertainment for all the family.
