| We would like to welcome you to vacation in our home in the sun.This 2 bedroom apartment with rooftop terrace is situated on the edge of Algorfa village with views of Mount Callosa in the Heart of the Segura Region. Our home is situated in a gated courtyard with swimming pool, waterfall, flowers, and shrubs. We offer you the very best of everything, with all home comforts, from marble floors throughout, with the very best in the kitchen all in stainless steel with granite work surfaces. Seperate utility room gives you the opportunity to close the door on the dreaded 'wash'. Hot & Cold Air Conditioning and a ceiling fan in the lounge are there for your comfort. The lounge and the main bedroom have patio doors leading onto the poolside balcony,with 4 Rattan chairs and a table and lots of flowers, were you can wine and dine overlooking the courtyard and pool before hitting the town. It is important for you to know THERE IS NO GAS IN THIS PROPERTY!!
There is an underground garage to keep your car cool, and lifts for those who need them. We are just 15 minutes away from the 21 miles of glorious beaches voted the best of all the Costa's by the World Health Organisation.
Our Rooftop Sun Terrace offers you all the facilities to spend a lazy day and evening overlooking the Orange and Lemon Groves and mountains, with BBQ, large table, large parasol, 6 chairs, and sun loungers, where you can sit and enjoy the Spanish Sun to your hearts content. And when the sun goes down there is solar lighting.
The village is typically Spanish and there are many shops selling local produce, butcher, baker, newsagents, video club, and just as important the local bodega were you can buy to your hearts content but only after you have sampled their excellant wines.
A weekly market is held every week in the Square, and they are held in different areas every day. The best we think is held on a Sunday just 2 kms away.
The village has many bars and restaurants and just a short drive away there are many villages with excellant restaurants and bars for you to try. There are lots of Golf courses,La Finca being the nearest and newest,being only 2 minutes away in the car. This course was designed by Jose Gancedo and enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year.It is bookable with an e-mail to caddie@golflafinca.com There are also many other golf courses in the area. The apartment has details on all of these, distance, phone numbers, cost.
5 marinas, and 2 water parks in the area. There is also within walking distance a large open air swimming pool with sun loungers which costs 1 euro for adults and 50 cents for children for the day, with tennis courts, football, and a childrens play area.
The very well known resort of La Manga takes less than an hour to reach, with Villamartin just 10 minutes away with a lovely plaza and lots of restaurants and shops. Almoradi our nearest town just 3 minutes away with streets lined with orange trees. Torrevieja a short 20 minute drive away has a lovely harbour and marina, with boats to be envied,lots of shops,a new shopping mall, restaurants,funfair, a daily market and the famous Therapeutic salt lakes.
The beautiful old town of Guadamar is just 15 minutes away and has a natural pine forest which leads onto the best of golden beaches, great restaurants, tapas bars,shops and ice cream parlours. The historic town of Orihuela is a short drive away,the only other place we have never seen with so many palm trees in one area is Elche. Then there is Cabo Roig the picturesque village that sits high on a palm tree covered peninsula. Of course if you are in the mood for retail SHOPPING there is the fabulous city of Alicante. Stop at Villajoyosa for the very best chocolate you can taste and drink and save the shoe shopping until you arrive in Alicante.
There is so much to do in the Algorfa and surrounding areas, you will be spoilt for choice.This coastline offers so much for a fantastic holiday, something for everyone.
It is most important that you have a car for your stay as there is so much to see and do.
