AS FEATURED IN THE DAILY MAIL COLOUR SUPPLEMENT -Chateau Joncasses is a petite and unique chateau nestling on a hillside overlooking the beautiful countryside of the Lot valley. The secluded grounds of 50 acres have gardens landscaped into green fairways beyond which oak woods and wild flower fields cascade into deep valleys. Ivy-clad balustrades and balconies provide panoramic views whilst inside intricately detailed carving, panelled walls , candleabra, antiques and works of art create the ambience of a bygone age. A unique feature is the intimate Cellar Wine Bar stocked with hundreds of bottles of a variety of local wines. A huge pool with jacuzzi surrounded by shady terraces is immediately adjacent to the chateau. In addition there is a sports complex which includes a badminton court, table tennis, pool table, table top football and a variety of gym equipment. There are mountain bikes available to explore the local countryside and within the grounds a 7 hole target golf course and 5 a side football pitch.
