Casa Bahia is located within the private residential urbanisation of Monte de los Almendros, approximately 3km from the town of Salobreña.
The house, with private pool, has been recently renovated to a very high standard, and has magnificent south-facing views of the Mediterranean Sea, the town and castle (illuminated at night on weekends), as well as the Sierra Nevada mountains (Salobreña really is where the mountains meet the sea!).
Casa Bahia has been renovated and equipped in order to provide you with an extremely comfortable and modern home to enjoy a holiday at any time of the year. On arrival at the house there is ample parking for up to 3 cars. The entrance hall leads to an open plan sitting room, dining and kitchen with completely retractable sliding doors to the large terrace and private pool area, which immediately brings the outdoors into the sitting room. The newly designed kitchen is both spacious and fully equipped with split level stainless steel electric oven and microwave, induction hob, integrated dishwasher, full-size stainless steel self-defrosting fridge, utility room with full-size freezer and washing machine. The kitchen also has electric coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc. The sitting room has air-conditioning/heating, as well as a fireplace. There is satellite TV which receives free-to-air channels, DVD player and a CD player. Double-retracting glass doors lead from the sitting room to the very large south-facing terrace which incorporates the swimming pool. The views from the terrace are magnificent which we particularly enjoy in the evenings while dining alfresco, as well as during the day. The house also has a BBQ. To the right of the sitting room there are a couple of steps up to a spacious double bedroom with adjacent full bathroom. The bedroom also enjoys the spectacular views and has air-conditioning/heating. To the left of the sitting room there are steps down to another large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom including bath and large walk-in shower, air-conditioning/heating. The third, self-contained, twin bedroom has a private entrance with superb mountain views from the bedroom window and enjoys a separate covered terrace with views of the mountains, the Mediterranean and Salobreña. There is a full bathroom including bath and large walk-in shower, and a kitchenette with facilities for making breakfast etc, which is why we feel our house is the ideal holiday location for families travelling with parents/friends who like privacy at certain times.
The house is located on its own plot and has garden terracing all around with many of the beautiful plants which are indigenous to this area.
On the urbanisation there is a large communal pool with separate toddlers´pool, grassed playground, tennis court, small football pitch and basketball hoop, kiosk selling drinks in summer, and our guests have unlimited complimentary use of these facilities. The closest beach is in Salobreña (approx 5 minutes drive) and the local golf course is approximately 10 minutes by car. A full information book covering the local area, shopping, fiestas etc, is provided by our English-speaking property managers who are available to assist you throughout your stay to ensure you have a carefree holiday.

SALOBREÑA is situated on the Mediterranean coast, due south of the City of Granada, on the Costa Tropical. It is a dazzling, ancient white town, built on a large rocky outcrop that rises majestically from the surrounding tropical plain. Virtually on the doorstep is the wonderful Alhambra Palace (approx 40 minutes drive), the city of Granada as well as the Alpujarra mountain villages. There is an aqua park in Almuñecar (15 minutes drive), Nerja with its unique caves, and many other activities which are detailed in our information book.
Casa Bahia is the perfect place to stay for those seeking an environment that offers peace and tranquillity, or looking for a comfortable base from which to undertake their activities. The Costa Tropical is easily reached from Malaga, Granada or Almeria airports. We strongly recommend that you hire a car should you choose to stay at our house.
