This spacious, well furnished, apartment is in the popular Old Town, Albufeira, which remains an unusually pretty village. Within a few minutes walk from the apartment, through tree lined streets, is the town square, where you find restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, and live music can be enjoyed in the evenings.
The beach is 5 minutes' walk away and the cliff top can be reached by the escalator at Fishermans Beach or the lift at the Town Beach end. There are magnificent views from these points.
The Moorish architectural influence in the Old Town is strong with narrow cobblestone streets, twisting lanes of whitewashed houses and terracotta roofs above a beautiful spread of beaches. The beaches are ideal for sun bathing during the day and for pleasant evening walks. Nothing beats watching the sun set on the breathtaking Portuguese coastline. The resort bustles with life and atmosphere and plenty of bars, shops, and cafes add to the colour and upbeat feel of this area which has retained its charm.
Golf courses are easily accessible. There are 3 located locally - Balaia, a small attractive 9 hole course with a par of 27. The Pine Cliffs was founded in 1991, Par 33, the 9 holes have a fantastic cliff top location. Salgados is situated behind the beach of Praia de Gale, it requires a technically skilled player with a Par 72. A further 6 courses can also be found in nearby Vilamoura which is only 13kms away.
