SLEEPING A MAXIMUM OF 6 ADULTS PLUS 1 CHILD USING THE SMALL CHILDS OCCASIONAL BED - this spacious 2 bedroomed poolside apartment really is only 400 metres from the beach at the end of the road and 100 metres from numerous restaurants/bars/ shops, including a large supermarket, news agents, bank, dentist, doctors and chemist.
The bus stop into town is just around the corner.
Torrevieja town centre is approximately 6/8 miles away.
A car is not necessary but there is parking on site should you need it.
There is a gated swimming pool with a shallow kiddies pool attached.
One minute walk away there is a kiddies play area and an 'Excerise' area for adults!
The apartment has its own paved terrace leading to a private staircase upto the front balcony and main entrance. The balcony is big enough for 6 to eat out on and over looks the central walkway and gardens.
There is a smaller rear balcony overlooking the pool area.
There is a TV with Spanish/English programmes (including a childrens channel) plus a DVD player and a DVD library consisting of over 100 family films. Some CD's, games and books are also provided.
A cool bag and thermos are provided for the beach.
THERE IS JUST ABOUT ROOM FOR A TRAVEL COT IN BED 1 OR BED 2 IF YOU ARE NOT USING THE 'KIDS' BED. YOU CAN HIRE A TRAVEL COT AND LINEN, HIGH CHAIR, AND BASIC BUGGY FROM US.
BEACHES
At the end of the road (400 metres/5 minutes walk) there is the beach of Rioco del Mar. Follow the coastal path around the headland to PUNTA PRIMA beach.
3 miles further on by car there are the 3 fabulous beaches of LA ZENIA and the Marina and beach at CABO RIOG. La Zenia is home to 'PADDY'S POINT' roundabout with its well known IRISH PUB.
There really is a lot to do in the area including a visit to the WATER PARK in town or riding at the local stables. There is a GO CART TRACK and MINI FUN PARK a short walk away and you can pick up your emails free from the McDonalds restaurant in the Mall over the road.
The Hotel Torre Joven closeby has a basement 'disco/club' in the summer and a 'Irish Pub' with bar billiards and football tables, open to non residents all year.
NEW FOR 2012 is the plush new LA ZENIA BOULEVARD SHOPPING MALL which is approximately 2 miles away down towards La Zenia.It includes a cinema and bowling alley and food court.
TORREVIEJA AND FURTHER AFIELD
In town you will find a MALL, CASINO, a CINEMA that also shows English films during the week, a CRAFT MARKET, FUN FAIR and an actual Submarine used as a museum moored in the harbour.
Go Bird Watching at LA MATA LAKE.
Catch the ferry to the Island of Tabaca which was once used as a look out point to spot invading pirates.
Book a coach trip to Benidorn at the tourist office in town.
Trips include the theme park TERRA MITICA, Sea World (MUNDO MAR), BENIDORM PALACE DINNER SHOW.
CARTAGENA CITY
Steeped in history this deep water Naval Port and lovely city offers lots to see and do. A CASTLE, ROMAN AMPHITHEATRE, tourist bus and boat and much more. Throughout the year large cruise ships moore here.
MURCIA CITY
Visit TERRA NATURA the themed ZOO/WATER PARK.
The city has an intesting old city centre and Cathedral.
GOLF COURSES
There are approximately 5 within driving distance. The closest is The Villa Martin Championship Golf Course. Adjacent to it there is a 2 storey Plaza with many restaurants and bars.
La Manga, famous for water sports and its Golf Course, is approximately 45 minutes away further down the coast.
