Two bedroom air conditioned 1st floor apartment with new decoration & furnishings -near Torrevieja centre with lovely view of windmill park from balcony. Sleeps 4-6 persons.(Ideally 4 people for a comfortable stay but 2 children can be accommodated in sofabed)
10 min walk to the beautiful Torrevieja Marina, 5-7 minutes to local Friday market,Aquapolis (aquapark-one of the largest in Costa Blanca), Park of Nations, and Torrevieja centre with all the International restaurants, bars & clubs.
Good sized lounge with double sofa bed, arm chair and dining table with 4 chairs.TV / DVD player,I-pod dock/radio and a small collection of DVDs & books. Hot & cold air-conditioning in living areas.Gets plenty of light from the balcony terrace balcony with patio furniture seating for 4 , gets lovely sunshine in the morning till midday where you can enjoy a lazy al-fresco breakfast or lunch.
There is also a large communal roof solarium with plenty of sunshine through out the day
One double bedroom with build- in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables & lamps. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms for summers and oil heaters for winter months. Second bedroom is twin room with two single beds (one of which can be neatly folded away as an underbed)& free standing wardrobe. Patio/terrace area from 2nd bedroom with clothes dryer & also to put the beach things away.
Well equipped kitchen with pots/pans & cutlery, ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave, kettle /toaster ,good sized fridge freezer and washing machine.
Fully tiled family bathroom with WC, bidet , basin and bath with shower over. Hairdryer and iron available for use.
There is a communal swimming pool & children’s pool for residents/guests open from mid-June to mid-Sept.
The apartment block is disable-friendly with ramps and 2 lifts. Road parking spaces available easily on the street .Secure entry of the complex.
An internet cafe (charge 60 cents for half an hour & 1 Euro per hour), and convenience store for essentials are next door.
Local blue flag beaches,Marina,Hebaneras shopping centre, Friday market ,Aquapark, bus station -all within easy 10-15 min walking distance.Apartment is very centrally coveniently located to access all the attractions.
Local bus service to all locations (bus stop 100 meters) and car is not necessary to get around. A number of bars, clubs, & take- aways nearby.
Variety of carnivals & festivals take place around the whole year in Torrevieja which are popular events. It boasts of 320 days of sun a year and an average temperature of 18°C. There are many beautiful beaches, squares, walks, parks, gardens and other natural beauty spots as well as some wonderful historical monuments.
La Mata with its large salt water lagoons & fantastic beach is around 5-10 min bus ride and is known for its medicinal effect to ease arthritis, rheumatism, eczema & asthma.
Torrevieja is around 35 km from two airports Alicante & Murcia and well connected from UK by frequent low cost flights like Ryanair,Easyjet etc.
Private airport transfers can be arranged if required.
