The important tourist and commercial centre of Torrevieja is within easy reach. The area offers an abundance of beaches, marinas, golf courses, shopping and leisure centres.
In addition to this, there are plenty of very Spanish towns and cities to visit such as Torrevieja, Orihuela, Cartagena, Murcia and Alicante all with interesting historical monuments and spectacular views.
